Kevin Keyser’s charming home in East Hampton has recently been renovated and boasts beautifully landscaped gardens that have been lovingly tended by Kevin. As the owner of Hampton Silverleaf Landscaping, Kevin Keyser has poured his heart and soul into creating a tranquil haven that has evolved over the 17 years of his ownership, and he takes great pride in the planting of trees, shrubs, and gardens. The timber house was built in 1958 and underwent a three-year renovation, which included the addition of yoga and art studios. The lush gardens surrounding the home feature a stunning array of contrasting colors and clever layering, with winding paths and an abundance of vibrant purple alliums that appear to float above fountain-like plants.
The property has wraparound windows on two levels and is exposed to sunlight throughout the day. The interior of the two-story building is well-lit, thanks to numerous timber-framed windows and glazed doors. The cozy living room has an open fireplace and is adjacent to a glass-enclosed “four seasons” room with a picture window and garden views. The design of the gardens is such that Kevin Keyser has created an atmosphere of privacy with 20-foot evergreens surrounding the property, courtyards, bright and dark areas, a timber-framed pergola, and a line of colorful flowering trees next to the pool. Outdoor lighting adds to the property’s beauty at night.
