Landscape design is a skilled profession that involves arranging the various features of a land area, keeping in mind both aesthetic and functional aspects. When it comes to landscape design, it is often regarded as an art form rather than a scientific process.
As professionals in this field, we can attest that creating a stunning outdoor space involves more than just following a set of rules or formulas. Rather, it requires a creative eye, a deep understanding of the natural environment, and the ability to bring together various elements in a cohesive and visually pleasing way. While there are certainly technical aspects to consider, such as soil composition and plant selection, it is ultimately the artistic vision that brings a landscape to life.
Our founder, Kevin Keyser, is a master designer when it comes to landscape design. “It’s a true passion of mine,” Keyser states. “As founder of Hamptons Silverleaf Landscaping and the company’s lead designer, I only take on properties that I feel can benefit from my total attention. I work with you to shape your landscape design for the present moment with an eye toward its evolution. How your plantings grow, and how they interact as they do so, is key learning left to the wayside by so many others.”
What’s the Landscape Design process like?
How do we get started on transforming your property into the oasis you’ve always dreamed of? Our first step is to meet with you and survey your property, including your house, outer buildings, and current landscaping. We want to hear all about your landscaping ideas and desires to ensure that we capture the feel you’re looking for.
From there, we’ll get to work on drafting an original design that perfectly balances your desires with your property’s needs. We’ll work closely with you to guarantee your complete satisfaction, taking into consideration any present or future evolutions of the land.
Once we’ve finalized the design, it’s time to discuss our three stages of execution: Implementation, Integration, and Care. We’ll walk you through each step of the process to ensure that you’re comfortable and confident with our plan.
For more complex projects, we offer architectural landscape designs and total care maintenance packages. Our packages can be tailored to your needs, whether you prefer month-to-month or seasonal services.
