East Hampton Springs

This home rests on the top of a hill. The owners wanted lots of natural color to surround the home on all sides, so the blooms could be seen and appreciated from any window in the house. My design provided an assortment of wild bushes and flowers, an evolving and ever-changing palette of blooming color from spring through fall. With all of these plantings, the property needed protection from deer, so we installed cattleguards that have gone a long way toward preventing animal destruction of their gorgeous and vibrant plantings.
